Welcome to our “Proje(c)t Haspatal” website !

We are around ten very motivated students, members of vzw PraubashBaungau asbl, have launched together to realise a “Haspatal” project in Bangladesh. As such was our dream, so we are devoted ourselves to help the local community directly and to know the reality of their life as well as to earn practical knowledge from that part of the world.

We have actually planned to build a separate maternity unit of Kailakuri Clinic/Hospital in a rural area of Bangladesh as it is desperately needed.

Though the project itself is not a big one, but its significance is enormous for the local people.

The preliminary work of the project has begun in March 2009, and if everything goes well, we expect to build the real construction during our academic vacations in July-August 2010. We are aware that July-August is the worst season in Bangladesh but we have no other choice of timeframe to go there as we all are regular students.
